Disclaimer

PRIVACY STATEMENT / PRIVACY POLICY I appreciate your interest in my website. The protection of your privacy is important to me. Hereinafter, I inform you about the handling of your data. As the operator of this Website I take the protection of your personal data very serious. I treat your personal data confidential and in accordance with the German data-protection-law, as well as in accordance with this Privacy Statement. Generally, you may use my website without providing any personal data. Insofar as personal data (e.g. name, address or email-addresses) is collected on my websites, this is done on a voluntary basis wherever possible. Please note that the transmission of data through the internet (e.g. by communicating via email) may exhibit security leaks. Absolute protection of your data from third-party access is impossible.

1. Server Logfiles Insofar as you are using my website only for information purposes I do not raise any personal data with exception of the data transmitted by your browser, which is required to allow your visit of our website. The provider collects and saves this information automatically in so-called server-log-files, as far as your browser submits this information automatically. This data usually is: – IP-address – Date and time of a request – Time zone difference to the Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) – Content of a request (specific webpage) – Access status / http-status-code – Transferred data volume – Website, from where a request is made – Browser – Operating System and system surface – Language and version of your browser-software. This data is solely being processed for testing and increasing the safety of the website and the network and protect them against attacks and defects. This data will not be combined with other data sources. I reserve the right to examine these data at a later date, if I become aware of concrete indications of unlawful use. The data is either deleted or anonymised after seven days by shortening the IP address by the last eight bits.

2. Cookies My website uses cookies. Cookies are used to make my offer more user-friendly, effective and secure, but they can not run programs or transfer viruses to your computer. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer and stored by your browser. Most of the cookies I use are so-called “session cookies”. Sessions cookies are deleted when you log out or close the browser. Other cookies remain on your device until you delete them. Through these cookies, I can recognize your browser on the next visit. I use so-called “tracking cookies” that allow other providers, e.g. Google, or Facebook, to track your Internet activity across multiple sites. Detailed information on the use of tracking cookies can be found below in this data protection statement in the description of the respective providers. You can set your browser so that you are informed about the setting of cookies and allow cookies only in individual cases, to exclude the acceptance of cookies for specific cases or in general, and to activate the automatic deletion of cookies when the browser is closed. When deactivating cookies, the functionality of my website may be restricted. The information stored by cookies is stored separately from any data which may be given to me. In particular, the data of the cookies are not linked to your additional data.

3. Contact Form If you send me a message by using my contact form, the information from the contact form including your contact details will be stored in my systems, in order to process your request and to react on possible follow-up questions from your side. I will not forward this data without your consent.

4. Newsletter For the subscription to my newsletter, I use the so-called double opt-in procedure. This means that I will send you a confirmation email to the specified email address, after giving your email address, in which I ask you for confirmation that you wish to receive the newsletter. If you do not confirm this within 24 hours, your registration will be automatically deleted. If you confirm your wish to receive the newsletter, I will save your email address until you unsubscribe. The sole purpose of this storage is to send you the newsletter. In addition, each time when registering and confirming, I store your IP addresses and the times of access to prevent misuse of your personal data. You may revoke your consent to the storage of the data, the email address and its use for sending the newsletters at any time via the “unsubscribe” link in the newsletter, via my website or by sending a message to the contact details given in the imprint. I would like to inform you that I am evaluating your user behavior when sending out the newsletters. For this evaluation, the emails sent include so-called web beacons, also called tracking pixels. These are one-pixel image files that link to my website and allow me to evaluate your user behavior. This is done by collecting the following data: – IP-address – Date and time of a request – Time zone difference to the Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) – Content of a request (specific webpage) – Access status / http-status-code – Transferred data volume – Website, from where a request is made – Browser – Operating System and system surface – Language and version of your browser-software. as well as web beacons, which are assigned to your e-mail address and are linked with their own ID. The information collected in this way is stored by the newsletter provider on his server in [France]. You can always deny this tracking any time by clicking on the separate link provided in each email, or by informing me via contact details below. This type of tracking is also not possible if you have deactivated the display of images by default in your e-mail program. In this case, the newsletter will not be displayed in full and you may not be able to use all the features. If you display the images manually, the above tracking is performed.

5. Privacy Policy for the use of Google Analytics My site uses features of the Google Analytics Web analysis service. Provider is Google Inc. In case of the activation of IP anonymization on this Web site, your IP address is shortened by Google within Member States of the European Union or in other States party to the agreement on the European economic area. Only in exceptional cases, the full IP address is transmitted to a server of Google in the USA and cut there. On behalf of the owner of this Web page, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports about the website activities and to provide further services associated with the use of webpages and the use of the Internet to the website operator. The IP address sent from your browser as part of Google Analytics is not connected to other data of Google. You can prevent the storage of cookies by adjusting your browser software; I would remind you however, that you may not be able to use all functions of this website in this case. You can also prevent the collection of data generated by the cookie in relation to your use of the website (including your IP address) for Google, as well as the processing of this data by Google, by downloading and installing the following browser plug-in available at the link: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de.
